Waynesboro, Virginia: Mohawk Industries carpet-backing plant is closing; 120 employees will lose their jobs.

Richmond, Ohio: Hoffco-Comet, which once employed 300 people, is filing Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and going out of business. Its last 15 workers will lose their jobs. Hoffco most recently manufactured lawn and garden equipment.
